Turquoise Mountain has collaborated with Princess Norah bint Abdulrahman Al Faisal Social Center to produce beautiful Sadu cushions in various designs that draw on historic motifs. Sadu, the tradition of Bedouin weaving, is one of the most ancient and widespread crafts of Saudi Arabia, originally practiced by women to create tent panels and camel coverings. Today’s artisans use naturally dyed yarns and cotton weaves to showcase their skills and produce beautiful items for the contemporary home.
